What do I need to hire a car?
We need pictures of the following to secure the car, then the originals to be brought to the office when you come to collect the car:
- Driving licence front and back
- PCO badge/paper licence
- DVLA check code
- 2 forms of address proof, dated within last 3 months
Can I collect the car the same day?
Yes, as long as you submit all the documents before 12pm.
Can I use my own insurance?
Yes, as long as you can provide us proof of a valid fully comprehensive policy. Please provide us these documents 24 hours before you collect the vehicle.
Is there a minimum contract length?
Usually, we only hire cars for a minimum of 4 weeks.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age is 23, but please note that if you’re under 25 there will be an insurance premium to pay that will calculated by the insurer at the point of sale.
What is included in the weekly rent?
The weekly rent will cover the hire of the vehicle including insurance, your vehicle PHV licence, road tax and maintenance.
What is my insurance excess?
Your insurance excess is £500.
Can I take my PCO car abroad?
Unfortunately, our insurance does not cover you outside the United Kingdom.
